Psychedelic Photogaphy with Rae

For those who don't know, one of my favourite hobbies is photography. Whether digital or film, SLR or Point and Shoot, or even plastic toy cameras... whatever the means, I love capturing beautiful imagery.

While I was visiting close family friends in Kelowna (a five hour drive from where I live), Rae and I decided to do a photo shoot. She's a very close friend (practically a sister!), and she often models my handmade jewelry. She's an emerging fashion model, and for fun, we like to do practice photo shoots.

Here are some of my favourite shots from our last shoot. We used red and blue Christmas lights to create a psychedelic lighting effect. I balanced my camera on top of a stack of books in place of a tripod, which I'd stupidly left at home.
