A Lovely Walk Around the Lake

Greetings everyone!

Over the last few days, the weather has been AMAZING.
Cloudless blue skies, a high of 24°C, and a slight breeze. Perfect weather.
Please don't mind me, as I fill up my blog posts with nature shots. It's just so fantastic to finally see the sun again. And a blue sky. And not have to wear a tuque outside.  (●´∀`●)

Beautiful colours! One of my favourite colour combinations.

Boys fishing in the lake
Geese & babies (so cute!!!)
See the baby goose at the bottom? :3
d'awww! Baby goose!
I made a panorama of Como Lake. Click it to enlarge (though it's not a perfectly stitched image)

Happy Monday!

An Afternoon Walk with Sandy

I had the lovely company of Sandy, who our family friends brought with them for the weekend here (they stay with us almost every weekend due to work commuting). Sandy was giving me those sweet little googly eyes, saying 'pleassssse take me out for a walk' and I couldn't resist her charms. I brought my camera and snapped a few photos on the walk. Enjoy! :)

awww what a cutie pie!

Hope you're all having a marvelous Sunday!

April Showers...

Bring May Flowers!

It's almost the end of April (well, in 33 minutes, that is). I can hardly believe how fast spring has arrived. I have lots of super cool things I plan on sharing with you guys over the next few weeks, and hope you'll stick around, check in, and let me know what you think.

One of my dreams is to make a Faerie garden, and even though I don't have much space, other than my little  balcony, I plan on converting the hell out of it until it's fully faerie-fied.

A few weeks ago, I purchased five little potted strawberry plants. And my have they grown! They're at least five inches taller, are sprouting new leaves, and finally little cute white flowers! So today we got some soil & fertalizer, and plan to repot the five plants together, into one large pot (I'll share photos with you tomorrow).

Here are some pics of my little budding strawberry plants. I feel like I should name them or something, lol.

Strawberry Flowers
note: I totally messed around with the colours in photoshop :P

Aww! Hello little guy!
Do you talk to your plants too?

Big Rain Droplet
Cute snail named George.

Beautiful, lush, pink blossoms
These are a lot pinker than the ones that grow in my backyard

Violet Pansies. These were even more stunning in person.

A fiery tulip?

How was your weekend?
