My little strawberry plants are really starting to produce some big red strawberries! Yum!

Painting, Sculpting, Potting
I feel super productive lately!
Last night, I actually felt the urge to pick up my paint brush, and inking pens, and work on my Spirited Away illustration. I've been feeling such a lack of passion and enthusiasm for so long, that it's great to feel inspired again.
The first batch of polymer clay leaves are out of the oven and cooling off right now. They may still be a bit soft, so I might have to put them in for another few minutes. I have to be really careful not to burn the clay, lol... I've had interesting accidents in the past.
And I've been organizing my collection of small pots I bought at the thrift store over the past month for my balcony/window herb garden. I wanted a mix of eclectic pots, of various styles and materials, to create an interesting look.
That's all for now folks!

April Showers...
Bring May Flowers!
It's almost the end of April (well, in 33 minutes, that is). I can hardly believe how fast spring has arrived. I have lots of super cool things I plan on sharing with you guys over the next few weeks, and hope you'll stick around, check in, and let me know what you think.
One of my dreams is to make a Faerie garden, and even though I don't have much space, other than my little balcony, I plan on converting the hell out of it until it's fully faerie-fied.
A few weeks ago, I purchased five little potted strawberry plants. And my have they grown! They're at least five inches taller, are sprouting new leaves, and finally little cute white flowers! So today we got some soil & fertalizer, and plan to repot the five plants together, into one large pot (I'll share photos with you tomorrow).
Here are some pics of my little budding strawberry plants. I feel like I should name them or something, lol.

The second part of my plan is to transform the balcony into a magical oasis. A place where I can sit in the summer time and paint; be inspired by flora and fauna, and maybe see a pixie or two! I have some interesting ideas for sculptural pieces I want to make for the garden too. I'll definitely be blogging about this project, so keep watching for updates. ^_^

Faerie Garden
One of my dreams is to create a garden. Not just any ol' garden with some flowers here, veggies there, and a bird bath or two - but a Faerie Garden. Since I was a child I've been inspired by the story of the Secret Garden - the idea of finding a skeleton key that opens a secret door into an abandoned sanctuary where magic lives has always appealed to me.
On Halloween day, I decided to go out and take some photos of some of the decorations people were putting up (and I happened to meet many friendly neighbours). Then I found this lady and her Faerie Garden, Halloween was forgot, and I clicked away!
