My Weekend + Craigslist & Thrifted Treasures

Hello all! Hope you're having a lovely Sunday!

As usual, we had our friends staying with us over the weekend. Marcus (age 10), and I spent most of the weekend playing cod zombies on xbox, and walking the dog around the courtyard, and laughing like dorks. I love that kid. He's grown so fast over this past year... he's almost as tall as me, and I'm sure within a month or two he'll be taller!

FABULOUS FIND via Craigslist. This chair feels as soft as suede, looks brand new, is super comfy, and best of all, only cost $35!! Can you believe it?! I've already spent time sitting in the chair (when it's not occupied by Hon Hon, and sketching in my little sketchbook.

I think it will look perfect in my Faerie Garden.

Miniature antique styled sewing machine pencil sharpener

Dessert! Organic Strawberries, raspberries, and blackberries, on spongecake with some
cool whip. Soooooooo yummy!

My Weekend of the Sleeping Dead

Hope you all had a lovely weekend!

My weekend was good, but exhausting. Literally. 

I envy those people who can go two days without sleeping and run around and have even more energy to burn. Unfortunately my body doesn't work that way. If I don't get 8-10 hours of sleep a night, I'm pretty much DEAD the next day. I think this is partly because I wake up a few times a night, and don't really sleep 8 hours straight, so I need the extra couple hours to fill in the gaps. 

So now that our friends are staying with us again each weekend (for work commuting reasons), I end up getting constantly woken up at odd hours, and feeling like absolute crap when I end up getting up. Thus the reason for no weekend blog posts.

The one fun part of having them over, besides their lovely company of course, is this little brat, Marcus. He and I stayed up past midnight on Saturday playing neopets games, and laughing like loons. I love that kid.
