  1. Very cute! I love the colouring! I could easily see that in a children's book :)

(Can you believe I just figured out how to sub so I can comment more regularly on your entries? Gah, I'm such a slacker. Sorry!)

    1. Thanks Lauren! :) I'd love to have some work published in a children's book one day. I hope you do come by more often! :)

  2. This is adorable and really well done! Im really curious what medium you used to color it in? Watercolor, photoshop?

and I was reading your response to a comment... and I say never ever give up on that dream of having your work published in a children's book. I've always wanted to write a children's novel, and I promised myself somewhat subconsciously I would do it by 18, and well, this year I finished it, and I'm really proud of it, and I feel totally at home in my writing. It's such a great field, and I think people who love the world of children's books should be in it.

good luck! thanks for stopping by my blog! I actually have moved more or less to Tumblr! If you are interested, my URL is Mushu-Maiko.tumblr.com , and I post my art there sometimes!
    cheers! : ) -abi

    1. Thanks so much for stopping by Abigayel! :)
Don't worry, I won't give up on my dreams; thank you so very much for the kind encouragement. And major congratulations are in order! I've always wanted to finish a book, but can never seem to stick to it, so I'm totally envious of you! :)

As for the illustration here, I drew it in Manga Studio 4, and coloured it in Photoshop 7. I don't really work digitally that often, usually I use watercolours, markers and ink, on hot press paper.

I will go add you on tumblr so we can keep in touch ^_^
