Tiny Cute Things

Hello, hello!

I've been hearing that some places in the states have been getting crazy hot weather - but not here, in BC, Canada. Oh no. Right now it's cloudy, raining, and a bit chilly, and I'm not complaining one bit. I do love warm sunny days, but I hate when it's so hot at night you can't sleep, even with a fan (most people I know don't have air conditioning here because it just doesn't get that hot for too long). And no matter how hot it is, my cat always wants to snuggle up close to me, which is both cute and suffocating. :P

How has the weather been in your home town?

Anyway, here are some cute, sparkly bits of this and that that I found around my room, and wanted to share.

I got a bunch of these plastic sparkle jewels at the dollar store.
I definitely need to get more so I can decorate a purse or something.

This was one of my test shots, before I adjust the shutter speed and aperture on my camera.
I love under exposed and over exposed shots sometimes.
They lend an atmospheric, if not very realistic, quality to a scene.

My Swarovski Crystals!

Some new post its

An anklet I made a few years ago. I love assemblage style jewelry.

A little drawing I made of my dream vintage suitcase in chartreuse.

A cute rainbow bracelet of Mickey Mouse heads I got at Disney Land

And that'll be all for today folks! Hope you enjoyed my show and tell! :)

  1. I think my little Valentina will be like you, she loves to make jewelery out of all kinds of different beads, she is forever collecting new ones.

It has been warm her in Nova Scotia, nothing like what they have in the states but warm enough that I have had to use the air conditioner... I broke down and bought one last year, some of the best money I ever spent.

Yesterday we had sun, thunder, lightening, hail and then sun again... crazy weather;)

    1. Aww, thanks Launna, that a really sweet thing of you to say. <3
Kids are so creative, and only so many of us hold onto that creativity into adulthood. I hope Valentina holds on tight! :)
