Nail Experiments #03

Greetings!

Welcome to another edition of Nail Experiments!

These ones would definitely be considered an experiment, and not exactly a successful one. I layered too much nail polish, didn't give it enough time to dry, and went nuts with the sparkles. It was fun to look at, but I ended up removing it soon after, and am giving my nails a couple days to recover from the globby mess. It was a lot of fun though, and I thought I'd share.

I will dub these my Cotton Candy Confetti Nails.

As you can see, I went for a loose french manicure styled nail, using the bright Gem glitter where the white strip would normally go. I really liked the effect, but not how globby the nail polish looked over all. So next time I'm definitely going to use less polish and wait for each layer to fully dry.

The polish details are listed below:

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. I love sparkly nail polish... I used to have the most amazing gold that I loved so much. I would like to try something like this, I too would have to have patience to wait for the nail polish to dry;)
