Rococo Girls

The theme for this month's Femme Original Art Auction is Baroque. I kind of took the term loosely, and created some Rococo inspired girls, who may have been friends of Marie Antoinette during the height of French nobility, elegance, and excess.

Can you imagine being so rich, and so cut off from reality, that when told your populace is starving, you tell them to eat cake? Totally insane. It was this idea of excessive extravagance that inspired the painting 'Toulouse'.

This piece is up for auction on the Femme page right now (along with many other beautiful works by the other talented artists in our group), so be sure to stop by and place a bid if you love her! :) -->Auction <---
