Fabulous Friday Favourites

Friday is finally here! Hurrah! We made it! :)

1. Mushroom Chic.
I tend to have a very eclectic style, ranging from fancy schmancy, crazy colourful, and quirky fun. This one would fall under the QUIRKY category, for sure.

I'd love to have this mushroom cardigan in my closet... I have a great fondness for fungi, especially, Amanita Muscaria (and if I ever saw one I'd freak. In a good way), so it kinda feels like this piece is meant to be mine. *wishes* I pretty much styled the rest of the outfit based around this piece.

2. Caitlin Hackett's GORGEOUS artwork
She works at such huge sizes. Seriously amazing & inspirational. I'd love to try that one day too. Imagine, a 5ft x 4ft watercolour illustration... nuts!

3. Zombies
I'm a big zombie fiend. I love zombie movies, the Walking Dead, the Call of Duty Zombie maps... basically I'm obsessed with zombie everything.

Michonne, kicking ass - The Walking Dead on AMC

Words of wisdom, these. The Walking Dead on AMC

Daryl with a Baby - The Walking Dead on AMC
I was pretty shocked when I saw Daryl's reaction to the baby. Totally an 'ovaries
explode' moment!!!

3. Twilight Premier & Kristin Stewart's Lacy Cat Suit

I love love love Kristin's lacy ensemble and racy hair. She looks fab. I don't know how comfy it would be though, so I can see why she quickly changed after her red carpet appearance. I like that she seems like the type of girl who can and will be herself no matter what.

Speaking of Twilight, I'm super excited to see the last movie. I can't wait to see Bella as a vampire, rather than a weak human. Edward will have to watch out!

Kristin Stewart - Twilight Breaking Dawn Premier
4. This Quote :>

"May the bridges I burn light the way."

5. Rainbow Eucalyptus Tree
Nature is truly incredible! I have never seen anything like this. According to wikipedia, the tree's bark peels off one colour, and reveals another colour underneath. It can range from green, to orange, to a deep purple. Definitely inspiration for a future painting!

Rainbow Eucalyptus Trees - I've seen this photo floating around facebook,
and don't know who to credit for the gorgeous photography. Please let me know if you do. :)

6. This gorgeous photograph by Svetlana Belyaeva

That's all folks! Hope you have a fantastic Friday! :)

    1. I love mushrooms! They taste so good haha! Esp. fried with onions. I think they are adorable too. I actually have a great fondness for mushrooms (I spent every morning walking to school photographing them, a few octobers ago. there was this great patch of weird looking mushrooms and faerie circles, that I couldn't help myself).
