Magenta Dream Nails

I hope you all had a fantastic Halloween!

Mine was rather dull, but did involve crafting a glittery black cat mask, eating copious amounts of candy, and watching old 1960's Addam's Family reruns. I had meant to do a lot more celebrating, but my plans fell through last minute... so I ended up redesigning my blog instead! :)

Now that November is here, I have two big goals ahead of me:

1. Finish paintings for the Grimm Art Show @ Blackbird Studios in Las Vegas
2. Start writing a novel for NaNoWriMo (national novel writing month - annual contest)

But just for now, lets focus on something more simple and cute, like NAILS!

These nails were fairly simple to do, but the effect was soooo pretty (in my opinion). The Magenta base coat, is Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear by Sally Hansen, in Posh Plum, with a thin layer of glitter, in a milky blue polish, over top. I like the effect of the translucent milky blue, and how it tamed down the vibrant colour of the Magenta. The pink and blue glitter adds a whimsical touch. Over all I love it! :)

  1. I love your blog makeover, so gorgeous AND WHIMSICAL!!!

Oh, also, your nails are cute! I like the effect. :D While I was shopping today, I found the. best. color. I think I need to layer this polish, which is sort of thin, with a dark base but oh my gosh, it's black and red glitter. SO pretty!

    1. Hehe thanks Angie!! :D I'm VERY excited about it.
Omgggg! I need to see this colour of yours asap!

  2. Sasha, first your nails are so them.

Second your blog is amazing, I love, love, love the new design. Did you do this all by yourself? I want to do something pretty like this to my blog but I really need help, lol.

I have the design in my head but I can't seem to transfer it;)

    1. Aww thanks Launna! I'll message you on facebook about blog designy stuff. ^_^

Every comment is read and appreciated! I love hearing your thoughts! :)
